Well, she bares a little flesh, too. Fringe star Anna Torv, who plays Olivia Dunham, recently did an interview for the magazine Esquire. As some of you know, Esquire also does rather racy pictorials of their interview subjects, and Torv was no exception. Alongside her interview, several pictures were posted featuring Torv wearing very little. The male demographic of Fringe fans will probably be excited to see the photoshoot, but fans of all kind will be interested to read the interview that came with it.
“If someone could see what I did in my twenties, I’d be moooooooortified [sic]. But you’re supposed to go and try all that stuff, aren’t you?” Torv said when asked about her past.
But speaking of her present, Torv is set to appear in the new HBO miniseries The Pacific, in an as-yet unknown, but still very likely to be memorable, role. How memorable?
“That sex scene in The Pacific ? You don’t get that on Fringe, do you? I don’t think anyone finds them easy. It’s not that I’m embarrassed about my boobs. It’s just that some part of you really doesn’t want that out there. At the same time, you want to get good at it. In the moment, what you’re really thinking is, ‘S—, I need a mint.’”
Finally, Torv dishes on what she thinks the future of her career will hold. “I don’t feel like I’ve hit my stride. So I wonder what the moment will be when I get to be who I want to be.”
