This week’s episode of Fringe had a glyph that translated into “BLIGHT.” The word blight is most commonly used as a description of a symptom of plants when they are infected by a pathogenic organism, which causes areas of the plants to brown and die. However, it has a few more broader definitions, such as to “cause to wither or decay; blast” or to “Destroy, ruin, frustrate.” How do you think this will relate to Fringe?
