Why is it that Walter found the combination of 5-20-10 to have some meaning? Probably not because it actually has any within the storyline of the show. The quote was a little throwaway reference to TV nerds like you and I who frequent sites like this one. If you convert the numbers 5-20-10 into dates, you get May 20, 2010. To me, it doesn’t look like there’s much coincidence that May 20, 2010 is also when the season two finale of Fringe will air. If the writers are really clever, 5-20-10 will also be the date that the episode takes place on (within the universe of the series), and could possibly rely on an event projected by Bell and Walter that would happen on that date. The convergence of the two universes, perhaps?
Do you think that 5-20-10 means anything besides the date of the season finale? Let us know in the comments section below!

I think you’ve got it right, I knew instantly that it was a date, but I didn’t know that it would be the day of the finale.
LOL! i’m not the only one who instantly googled “5 20 10″ after watching fringe.. haha
yeah, i thought may 20th right away.
i hope it’s something cool D:
This is probably not related, but it’s a funny coincidence. I googled the date and got this link to “May 20, 2010 – Schepens Eye Research Institute
Joomla – the dynamic portal engine and content management system.” A lecture date at Harvard University in Cambridge MA! Weird huh!????

funny how people work… we all thought alike to put in 5 20 10 in a search engine (internet) to see if there where a hidden meaning to thoses numbers.
